Thursday -
Last day of the week, hurray. I will be glad for a lay in tomorrow am.
Car in for a service today, so off to Audi in Leicester. They have a new place, so off I went but ended up missing the turning, so went down a private road (as I got told later!) then just turned around and drove back the way I had come. This should have been a simple move but my god did I feel the wrath of some chav resident who kindly stopped me by waving his arm out of his window. God knows why I stopped and wound down my window but alas I did.
' Did you know this is a private road?' - well clearly yes I did as this has houses around it but to me this is also a public right of way for all drivers and as I have passed my test, have insurance and pay my tax I think I qualify to drive down this 'private road' -
'I was driving under the speed limit, so excuse me' is what I said.
'excuse me, you may have been under the limit but you don't know what's around you'
If only I had been more quick witted, I would have said ' yes I can see some houses, trees, grass and oh some sign posts' is that good enough for you?' but was so angry at this chav man that I just said 'excuse me' and drove off. What a TWAT. Put me in a foul mood for the remainder of the day even though I had a nice AUDI courtesy car with DAB stereo. I should have been elated at this but no. Did manage to listen to Jazz FM though.
Left work early to pick my car up and enjoyed the nice clean car, thank you Audi
To the main in his Fiesta...GET A LIFE...
