Tuesday -
Am - work, planning for Eddie McGarry imminent arrival and trying to sort deliveries for the business, it is not easy and quite frankly getting boring. I am having to spend quite q lot of time managing this process because we can't build a lead time. Boring. Looked at other jobs today, see what is out there. Would love to work in a garden centre, Garden nursery or good quality outdoor shop, then trade. Perfect life for me. Who knows what might happen this year!!!
Eve - DW came over, rustled up a quick noodle dish then out to the Golf range, DW is quite good. Takes in my advice and technically good. I also had a good session, striking the ball really well, which stands me in good stead for the family Golf day in April!!

Day 57 - 27th Feb
Monday -
Start of the working week, v tired after adventure weekend but only a 4 day week again this week as another adventure/challenge is set for me at the weekend.
PM - vowed to take it easy this week, as in no running but back on the regime next week, once this weekend is out of the way.
Chilled in evening - watched first episode of 'inside Men' great program.
Also need to begin my trading again, now my capital is building, just 100 points win per week with £5 per points will reap £500 per week, £2k per month for just studying and watching the markets. Now I have my Ipad I can watch on a more regular basis.

Day 56 - 26th Feb
Sunday - but more importantly DW birthday (Re-doing his 40th as last year it was rubbish).
AM - Up early and DW opened his 2nd gift, a pair of Superdry joggers, nice. Fitted perfectly, Phew!
Big breakfast, with fried bread today, blooming marvellous. Again required as hiking today, apparently the hike is scrambling up boulders and such like!!
Kinder Scout -
Great hike, but my god it was steep up the boulder/river bed sections. Peaty bogs on the top and the fog came down, so we followed some people then got lost. Thpought we were doomed!! :-)
Came down Jacobs Ladder and back over a small hill to the car. Just brilliant day.
Drove home - very tired, but the day/weekend doesn't end there.
Eve - DW brother invited us round for DW birthday roast dinner, so went for food. Very good meal, enjoyed the company, just generally lovely evening. Home, knackered, bed.
Wonderful weekend, would recommend to anyone who likes to keep fit and have some adventure

Day 56 - 25th Feb
Saturday -
Morning is glorious, sunny and quite warm, just with a small wind. Had a lovely cooked breakfast, with black pudding I hasten to add. Need it if we are going for a hike today. Lady Bower reservoir.
Couldn't find the start of the hike, so ended up walking off the beaten track up some strange wooded area then back down, but all added to the adventure :-)
Ended up half way round to find an amazing scene of the water cascading down the dam.
PM - Arrived back at the B&B in plenty of time to have half a bitter, read the paper, have a nice bath and watch the Rugby (England v Wales) down in the bar, wow what a great game, Guinness was nice too. Rustic food for dinner, massive slice of Beef & Ale pie, some wine, early to bed as another hike planned for tomorrow.
Love the country life, it is definitely me

Day 55 - 24th Feb
Friday - Holiday
AM - Up early for DW to have his 4th and final ski lesson @ MK. Gave him one of his birthday presents early, due to the nature of the item (Salopettes) and they fit perfectly, excellent.
Good ski lesson for DW and I really enjoyed my time on the slopes. Listened to some advice from an advanced ski instructor, by ear wigging, then cut my edges and lent right into the turn, excellent.
DW then proceeded to purchase cycle shoes, new helmet, snowboarding jacket, all good as clearly his plans for getting out on the bike and seriously taking up skiing are all on the cards.
PM - Popped into see 'Peter' & 'Louise' (Dad and his girlfriend) in Sutton Bassett, what a lovely couple. nice cup of tea and something called 'Parkin' cake thingy. Couldn't have the chocolate fudge brownie as Lent started on Wednesday, so no chocolate for 6 weeks!!!
Drove to Decathlon, where DW was like a kid in a sweet shop, bought further items for skiing and sports. I bought a really nice scarf to go with my ski beanie hat. Then travelled to the Peak District.
Should Of Mutton (Bradwell) - Lovely B&B with very nice manager, Lynn, and local people. Room was great, over looked the church and village.
Knackered, up early tomorrow for walk

Day 54 - 23rd Feb
Thursday - Last Day of the (very short) working week
Still considering whether to go to the Doctors to discuss 'Brown sludge', although it can take up to 3 months for my wee little body to accept the chemicals. Although I don't remember having this much trouble when clubbing on chemicals in the 90's :-)
Eve - packed my ski gear for the slope at MK tomorrow and off to DW's. DW at Badminton, so I made myself at home with a cup of tea, Log burner and Countryside on TV (Marvellous work).
Looking forward to the weekend in the Peak District, only 1 3/4 hours from MH, it is simply on my door step.
Rock on Dudes x

Wednesday -
Back to work we go and feel OK, still slightly dishevelled, look gaunt & a little pale but generally feeling better than the previous 3 days. I think I may try some decent food today.
PM - Lunchtime struck and yeah fancied a Cornish Pasty - hello stomach ;-)
Eve - Not too much to report, generally tired and started to pack for my weekend adventures with DW.
Only have tomorrow at work then off on Friday, beauty.

Day 52 - 21st Feb
Tuesday -
Ok so how do I feel today? Set my alarm for normal time. Ping - and I feel shit, emailed work & went back to sleep. Stayed in bed, watched Ipad stuff, a film and read the Sunday Times from cover to cover, which actually was a really good read.
PM - Had a bath and felt a little better, although head feels like it is in a vice & still haven't really progressed down the food path. A small bowl of porridge...
Eve (OMG I am possessed by the Devil Himself)
Christ almighty what an evil and vile person I have been to DW. He came round to make some pancakes and generally be an all round nice chap and I am the women from the Exorcist!! Angry, Argumentative, miserable, not talking...blah blah blah. I knew I was felt like this, during the afternoon I felt really pissed off, thought it was down to being ill but no, it feels like a bad case, a very bad case of PMT (However not had one of these episodes since I was in my teens and in the middle of my pill) .
There lies the problem, thank you to wonderful world of science who make these little easy to swallow pills that ' CAUSE WOMEN TO BECOME PEOPLE FROM HELL'!!!! I know there could be some side effects of taking the contraceptive pill, mood swings were one of them. I did not like myself, it was horrible to behold and DW got a bashing. I hope I don't have one of those days again, I can't cope, it is not me at all.
Apologies to DW, who took it all in his stride....shouldn't have had to deal with that shit
Keeping an eye on reaction to pill moving forward if I become another Banshee, it's off to the Doctors I go and sort me out with something else.
Forgive me father for I have sinned and burn me on the stake....crikey
Good riddance to Tuesday 21st Feb 2012.

Day 51 - 20th Feb
Monday -
Felt a little better however energy of a dead fish and looking awfully pale and ghost like (Should have taken a photo, but didn't want to scare any followers off). Bubbly stomach still there and still not eaten. Last big meal was Saturday evening.
Went to work, sat in office stared at screen, walked around, went to toilet a few times, left @ 2pm as needed to lie down. Felt lousy. At home proceeded to have a bath as could not get warm at work during day, although people did say that my office was hotter than the Tropics and that maybe sitting next to the heater wasn't such a good idea. (At this point - icicles were still forming on my nose)
PM - Went to bed, slept, watched stuff on my Ipad and my 2 x Love Films. Stayed in bed and went to sleep about 9ish. Great day !!!

Day 50 - 19th Feb
Sunday -
Plans for today were potter, finish cleaning Slippers' room, run & Gym. What actually occurred was the following...
Pottered - tick
David turned up with Sunday Times (out of the blue as passing through MH) - Nice and pleasant surprise, however was looking rather chavvy still in pyjamas at 10.30, having been up since 8.30ish. To be honest I had been resting on the stairs as had lack of energy (will go back to this fact later).
Cleaned - Tick
Washing - Tick
Run - x
Gym - x
Lay on sofa from lunchtime onwards for remainder of day - tick
So you see best laid plans and all that.
Now back to lack of energy, hence laying on the sofa, with aches all over my body and feeling very sick indeed, bubbly tummy and generally feeling like doggy doo! David came over and kept me company, can't say that I was much company for him as didn't really speak much just moaned now and again. Although to be fair, had a the odd burst of humour for about 5 secs then reverted to sick person.
Ended up taking Nurofen to get rid of pain, didn't work and DW went out to buy some Ribena for me, so I could have a hot drink as coudn't face tea.
All round rubbish day (time period to note here, is that this is has been about 3 years since I have been ill, so not a bad record)

Day 49 - 18th Feb
Saturday - In the House of Sickness
AM - Unfortunately the boys are not well. Zach up in the night being sick, David having to change bed sheets and attend to him. David then needs to visit the bathroom in the night!!! Oh Dear.
I must admit I did leave rather early and perhaps should have hung about to help out, slightly worried that I may catch this bug.
Chores most of the day - picked up package from post office, town, cleaning and some exercise. Then played on my new toy, kindly provided FOC... Hows that for a gift ;-0 Loving the technology these days. I'm a blogger, tweet, on face book ,have an Iphone and know Ipad. Rock on dude!!
Eve - David has had a very tough parenting day with little man, so we are keeping our distance this evening. Face times though (via new Ipad). Chilled out evening.

Day 48 - 17th Feb
Friday - I can smell freedom
Car into Audi to sort out software, sat in their coffee lounge for 2 hours, watched TV and read the paper, all very civilised and wasted 2 hours of work, now that is a bonus.
Eve - trundled over to Mr W's, Taco's for dinner (very nice). Zach poorly do he went to bed, however I was privy to 2 bedtime stories 'The Gruffalo' & 'Green Eggs and Ham', ah to be a small person again. Zach I'll during night, poor David had to sort :-(

Thursday -
Nearly the weekend, yeah. Not a bad week, really busy with the project I am working on for new website.
Evening - exercise
Ran again, calves sore but had a good run. Popped into gym on way home for weights session. Managed sit ups, first time since David squashed my ribs in snow attack 2 weeks ago!!!

Wednesday -
Forgot to mention big step into baby prevention, started back on the pill on Monday, after having been off for 10 years. No real side effects, with the exception of boobs wanting to break free of all support items. Dolly Parton springs to mind, although I cant sing.
Eve - exercise
Ran on my fore foot, meaning better running efficiency, although sore calves until I get used to the new running style.

Tuesday - (Valentines Day)
Ok, so officially the soppiest and most expensive romantic day of the year, why? Costly, cheap/tacky cards in shops, never have understood this ode to all things pink and red. Great time to own a florists though. As David and I say 'Happy Tuesday'. Of course still succumbed to the charms of M&S who tempted us with their amazing selection of dine in for 2. Then watched a Rom/Com - 50 First Dates, v funny.
Presents - non valentines.
D for G - amazing head torch for my 3 peaks and running.
G for D - Chocolate Orange!!

Another week begins, should be quite uneventful at work, immediate boss on holiday and RH is quite quiet, which is unnerving to say the least.
Eve - very tired, so early to bed as catching up from weekend. Is 9.00pm too early??? I choose early to bed over being tired and potentially a grumpy trolley!!!

Day 43 - 12th Feb
Sunday -
New age man cooked me breakfast after lazy morning reading the papers in the pit.
I of course lost the battle to buy the paper in the morning, failed on the good old fashioned paper, scissor, stone trick. Just popped on my joggers over my PJ bottoms and threw on a hoody (with no bra I hasten to add, Charlie Dimmock style).
All that chewing made us sleepy so went back to bed for nap!!
PM - On the Golf range, to hit a few balls and for me to provide New Age man with tips to help his game. I must confess, for someone who has not really played he is a natural. I was also delighted with my hitting ability considering I have not been out for a while. I need to practise loads as have a family Golf day in April!!! It was then all spoilt by 'POSH' kids making lots of noise and their parents doing sod all about it, so went to clubhouse and had a Magners. David then suggested a nice meal at the 'Red Lion' in Welham, lovely a great pub with nice food. Rounded off Sunday nicely.
Eve - Bath, ironing and early bed as it's a school night

Day 42 - 11th Feb
Saturday -
Walked into town, very icy and slippery underfoot. Pottered about doing mundane but necessary things in the town. Thanks to V&A who kindly bought my Euros from me so I didn't lose out posted a cheque through the door very early doors this am. Now in bank. Boots re-heeled, library books returned and renewed (Thanks to David who paid my fines, naughty me). Then off for a Wetherspoons breakfast, once again thanks for David for buying the traditional for me (didn't take a photo) bloody lovely though.
PM - Off to Northampton to visit some Outdoor shops, very interesting experience in the 'Jesus Army' owned shop. Bless the people in there, couldn't work out how the till worked as he only worked a couple of hours a week and felt very faint, he was seeing stars you know!!! (Great, thanks for that insight into how you feel and that you can't work a till, but you can communicate with Jesus..interesting ;-))
Bought myself another pair of 'Bridgedale' hiking socks for my planned walks and a pair of Gaiters.
Travelled home to watch the Rugby (England v Italy), with a Cadburys Creme Egg (1st one of the year) then flaked for a bit as knackered. Less we forget I was not on my own, Mr W has been accompanying me. He had another ski lesson tonight at MK, bless he was knackered, I just watched!!
Very busy but a great day

Friday - Thank Crunchy..
Well what do you know...it did snow again last night, started on my way home from work and my car was slip sliding along the road (nice). Started to fall heavily from 6.00pm, still snowing when I woke up at 3ish.. who needed to go skiing to see the white stuff :-0
"If you think I am going out in that without wellingtons you have another thing coming"
Due to car issues last weekend, worked from home instead, managed to get loads done, all good and ventured out later in the day to buy some eggs and cat food.
Evening - Mr W visited and brought a tremendous Beef, Cheese and Ale Pie (Home made no less!!) Bloody marvellous, tasty and very filling. Please see below photo of half eaten pie, nice.
A lovely evening of eating on the posh dining room table and chairs, listening to music and talking, Fabarooney.

Day 40 - 9th Feb
Thursday -
A normal day at work if every there was one, slightly aggrieved at the balls of the chairman again, with his 'you are shit' attitude. Working in services is not all it cracked up to be, it is purely because he doesn't understand how services works, he admitted that himself to the sales people!!! If you don't get it then leave it to us experts and let us get on with it please..thanks awfully.
Apparently snow is forecast again for this evening, oh joy! After last weeks events I am slightly concerned on how the Audi will react. Watch this space.
Still not motivated to exercise, I think this is due to ribs still hurting and the fact that I hibernate in winter (October - March). I am like a little Tortoise, some would say with just as hard a shell and just as wrinkly round the neck!!! Charming :-)

Day 39 - 8th Feb
Wednesday -
Normal working day, deliveries, board reports with Lorenzo etc....
Exceptionally tired today, nearly fell asleep on the drive home from work, had to keep singing to myself.
Quick meal, mostly protein and in pyjamas with Polar Bear (Note to self must take picture of Polar Bear).
Think an early night for me this evening, I don't like feeling tired, makes me grumpy if I don't catch up and I don't wish to be grumpy.
Will book snozone for this weekend, it's my turn to pay, prefer to go in the morning but the ski lessons for Mr W are at silly times at night. Oh well, once he is a fully fledged member of the ski brigade we can go whenever we like.
A cup of tea is calling me

Day 38 - 7th Feb
Tuesday -
Back to work and yes everyone either took the piss (actually that was Guy) or was very sweet and said they were sorry I missed my flight. Shock for a few people that I turned into work but that now means I have 7 days holiday left (including Feb 24th & March 5th already booked). Happy Dayz!
Eve - Tried to run but due to rib injury (again thanks to Mr W) although I know you didn't mean to hurt me when you chucked me in the snow and fell on me!!! :-) Managed a few tricep dips but couldn't do sit ups, press ups or any other exercise. Spent evening at David's, all very nice with a £10 eat in for 2 from Tesco, with baked Cheesecake (Note to all people out there, if you are on a protein diet you can eat cheesecake!!). Debated whether to book a weeks skiing or long weekend...going to wait and review at the weekend.
See you later x

Day 37 - 6th Feb
Monday -
Morning - deserved a lie in, so did and then vegged on the sofa whilst trying to see if I could get my money back for defunct trip. Not covered by insurance, Mark Warner won't move my dates, Friendship Travel have paid Mark Warner so do not have the money to refund!! Even tried my credit card company but no!! Oh well, at least I tried every avenue.
PM - Nandos (Yes that's Nandos Lady Bolam) thought I would give the old Peri peri sauce another go but chose a nice lemon and herb sauce this time. Didn't dare try the stomach upsetting hotter ones :-)
Then off to the cinema to watch 'The Chronicle' (the only thing on this PM). I really enjoyed it, Telepathic kids, quire strange but good, although cinema was very cold. I like going to the cinema in the afternoon.. Picked up Zach and then homeward bound.
Really a good day, made up a little for the missed trip
Thanks D

Day 36 - 5th Feb
Sunday -
Didn't sleep well as a little stressed, Birmingham airport is now open and my flight is going at 8.30am!!
Photo's show snow in garden, pretty but not went it prevents you getting into and out of Harborough, which happens to be down in a valley, so the only way out of here is up a hill and car will not function up hill.
Flight has gone from Birmingham and I am stuck at home, oh well it must be fate, it means I will be with David during the week!! David also mentioned about us going skiing together in Feb/March instead. Seems like a fair deal to me ;-)
Will update my parents and V&A and walk to the shops to get a paper. Means I can also call Cheryl and catch up.
Sad day...need to make a decision about work this week now, I will take tomorrow off as I don't think I will be able to get to work anyway, unless snow melts. Go into work for the rest of the week.

Evening - Recovered some of the nightmare of the last 24hrs by going for a lovely walk in the snow with Mr Walton. Ended up in town sittin by a log fire and Vinto Tinto...lovely. Pizza Express and then home.

Day 35 - 4th Feb
Saturday -
Busy day, popped into town to buy a few things for my trip in the morning, cleaned the house, Victoria popped in to see what to do with Slippers whilst I am away. Wendy popped in to offer services if required to feed Slippers moving forward. Travelled over to see David and Zack, went to NEXT and bought David new jeans and Zack 2 new jumpers, it was great going shopping with them :-)
David made his famous pizza, lovely, whilst I played with Zack.
The Snow Issue -
Started snowing at 5ish, not too bad however by the time I left Davids it was quite deep! Oh!
Car not a problem and driving conditions were ok in my Audi, fine along the A14 and up the slip road towards Harborough and then BOLLOCKS...car just would not go up the hill, slipping and sliding, wheel spinning. Now I am used to driving in snowy conditions and I have never had an issue with moving in the snow in previous cars. Audi A4 is apparently known for driving poorly in snow conditions due to the wheel size, poor traction, doesn't do well up hills (checked on website reviews once I finally made it home).
I would like to say a big thanks to the man and lady who stopped and helped me, they had a 4x4 and towed me all the way home!! I can't thank them enough they were my life savers. V&A & Mike and Jo popped their heads out to check that I was ok.
My car id defunct, warning lights all over the place, brake system failure of mass proportions says take the car into the garage. OK so this is my mode of transport to get to the airport in the morning. David has been trying taxi companies but none are taking new bookings. I also called 3 myself and services are suspended due to conditions!!! Unsure how I will get to the airport now :-(
Set my alarm for 4.00am to check whether conditions, they hadn't changed, my car is still defunct, so looks like I won't be going skiing then...very sad but I would rather be safe than stuck on the road with no way of getting home.

Day 34 - 3rd Feb
Friday -
Thanks crunchy it's Friday, bloody cold weather today -8 last night, crikey we haven't seen that since last winter. Must remember to put seeds out for the birds, bless them.
Busy day at work, left nearly on time (5ish) as David Coming round for dinner, so wanted to get home in plenty of time. Failed in attempt to make it back in a reasonable time due to A5 road closure, back into Hinckley, through the town out past Sapcote, Broughton Astley and Dunton Bassett to Lutterworth, excellent round trip. Arrived home at 6.40pm, with David planned to arried at 7.30pm, how is a girl to get ready in that miniscule time?? :-)
Evening - Fajita's, wine & DVD (Run Fatboy Run) what a hilarious film, loved it. :-)
David had to leave due to baby sitter for Zak, but relationship going well!!! ;-)
All good xx

Day 33 - 2nd Feb
Thursday -
Again a busy day, mostly filled with meetings, so time will fly.
Nothing much planned for this evening, just chill out and catch up on some TV is possible.
Worked on my finances, where does all the £ go, I know I have spent a fortune on ski gear but really
I don't waste it. Ordered Euro's on line today, pick up from my bank on Saturday.

Day 31 - Jan 31st
Tuesday -
Busy day day at the office today, tried to get my 'Small Items website' done but no. Deadline is fast approaching and I need to get this completed before I go away.
Skiing at MK this evening, my 2nd practice run before France on Sunday (4 more days until I board a machine that flies through the sky). Flying into Geneva, get me, then 2 hr transfer to the resort. Snow is amazing, the best they have had for the last 4 years all put together (Clearly planned for my arrival, knowing I hadn't been for 5 years (to the day- weird!). David took his 2nd beginners lesson and looks like a natural, I am sure it won't be long before he joins me on the big peoples slope :-)
I am loving all this social interaction and spending time with David, not so used to getting home about midnight!! What on a school night? Shocking, my poor little body can't cope ;-)

Day 30 - Jan 30th
Monday -
Back to work with a bump, quite a busy day but a nice day. I am officially back on my game, positive and have the 'look' in my eye (Which Laurence noticed) :-). How the female hormones control us so regular every month!
Decided a 10k training plan it is, going to focus on this when I return from my skiing trip, no point starting it now. Although I am working out in the meantime.
Face timed Mr Walton for an over 1hr this evening, nice chat yet again, he is so easy to talk to.
