Saturday -
Oh dear, Zach up at 5.50am due to sickness!!! Yes all attributed to the 'sweets' last night. DW rings NHS direct to make sure he will be OK. After spewing up rather alot at the Tesco's garage on his 'towel', all over himself and down the baby seat, we cancelled the day to the beach and went straight to DW's to wash the little fella, towels, clothes etc....ah bless him.
PM - As Zach seemed fine in himself, full of beans we chose 'Stanwick Lakes', a lovely nature reserve in Northamptonshire, lakes, play areas for kids and adults!! :-). Bought some lunch and had a great time, unsure whether Zach or DW did, you had better ask them.
Finger error!!! Rubbish
Eve - BBQ ( I let the boys play at that one)
Never going to make it in the world of photography, basic mistake Ms Raycraft..poor show

Day 145 - 25th May
Friday -
Great, last day of the working week and the big cheese is off for a week now, yippee!
Still hot out there and looks to stay around for the weekend, which means BBQ (First one of the year).
I wonder how many opportunities there will be to have BBQ this year, I am predicting double figures.
Eve - Zach is with is this weekend (Daddy's turn)
Pizza and drinks out on the patio..get us Alfresco dining in May and it's hotter than the continent.

Slippers enjoying the sun too.
Zach preceded to be a little monkey this evening, received a phone call from the neighbours to say he was hanging out of the window!!! DW did have to go and deal with it on more than one occasion.
The little cherub had also been into the Master bedroom and eaten two of my 'sweets' or contraceptive pills to us adults, oh dear.
Watch this space and hope for the best....
:O(
Day 144 - 24th May
Thursday -
Sun is shining, the weather is hot...
CBA - Can't be arsed to do any work today, want to be outside in the glorious sunshine. God only knows when it will all end and the British weather descends on us again.
When the weather is like this you want to be on a nice beach somewhere classed as paradise....
and your back in the room.
Nearly the weekend though.

Day 143 - 23rd May
Wednesday -
I know what you are going to say ' What a geek or boring cow' but I get very excited on a Wednesday as 'Lewis' is on!!!!! Sad, but I love it, the intrigue, mystery, Oxford, architecture....38 going on 68.
Pottered around in the garden this eve, still weeding, this is taking forever and I really need to sort out the back bit where 'Patio' man left all the remnants of the turf.
Sun continues to shine
Happy, happy, happy x

Day 142 - 22nd May
Tuesday -
Went for morning run again and what a beautiful day to run. Glorious sunshine, no one else around.
Running through fields of yellow, just me, the world and my trainers (obviously not just my trainers otherwise I could be arrested for indecent exposure) and get two black eyes!!
Good day at work - people are in high spirits because we have nice weather. Is this our summer or just a glimmer of good things to come in June/July & August?? I do hope so.
Massage was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G, the lady and I had so much in common it was a little scary. Met each others partners on the internet, both boyfriends calls David, both BF not into football, both very chilled out and are very attentive and sensitive. Need to check whether she is actually not dating DW too!!
I came home and there was DW in the garden, looking very chilled and bless him (he surprises me yet again) he has manoeuvred the garden furniture into the garden from the garage. It looks great, so we sit outside with some nibbles and cold white wine. Hello Summer come to Mama!!! ;-)
Looks like the weather is here to stay until the weekend, let's make the most of it peeps
I need to book a holiday now x

Day 141 - 21st May
Monday -
Well what do we have in store today people?
Work, work, work & another 5 day week, The Govt have alot to say for themselves making us humans work 5/7 days. How do we get the time to have fun and enjoy are little drab gray lives?? :-)
Stress levels - lower than last week and thank goodness for that.
DW has booked me a lovely massage for tomorrow at the wellness centre...looking forward to that.

Day 140 - 20th May
Sunday -
8.20 and a stirring from DW who sounds like he is getting dressed. In my sleepy stupor I think he has gone out but unsure. Wake up properly and go downstairs to all the washing up from the night before. I don't mind as washing up is therapeutic in my book. DW does return, from the paper shop no less and orders me back to bed with the paper (Sunday Times) and promises me a cup of tea in a jiffy!!!! Now girls seriously who can say their fella does that...
Read paper in bed, then went out for breakfast, treated of course by DW (Is this guy for real? are we on a film set? and are you Colin Firth?). Then off for brisk walk through the countryside and across fields, off to play 9 Holes of Golf and then preceded to go to Northampton to watch his mates band play in the good old 'Wig & Pen'. Back home for M&S lovely dinner and DVD 'Colombiana'... and pause.
Crikey what a day and what a great day had by all, well actually DW and myself. Managed to slip a call into my parents in between all the jolly fun stuff.
Now you can't say we are boring and don't do anything or have any plans
Thanks for another fabulous fun packed weekend DW x
Sleepy bows now x
PS: DW has lent me his Kindle, so I am trying this new found way to read books. Unsure but will give it a whirl.

Day 139 - 19th May
Saturday -
AM - run (5miles) good work Raycraft. DW also did a good run.
Food shopping as a few last minute bit for my small soire this evening :-)
PM - Popped to Pitsford Cycles for DW to look at very nice mountain bikes amd guess what he only found one. What are the chances of that happening???? mmmm. Reserved and ready to pick up within the next week. Will add a photo once he has it in his grasp and before it gets too muddy.
Eve - Preparation for V & A as we are entertaining the neighbours with food & drink. First time for everything. Also happens to be the biggest football match of the club season. My boys, Chelsea FC are in the final of the Champions league. Now what were the chances of me inviting the neightbours round only to have my football team in the final!! Anyway luckily they said they didn't mind or it would have been cancellation city and re-book lovey ;-)
What a game of football 1-0 @ 83mins to BM then 1-1 equaliser by Drogba @ 88mins, extra time and then the dreaded penalties. OMG! I was literally on the edge of my seat. Great penalties guys and wonderful goal keeping Mr Cech. Congratulations to the Champions Of Europe..I am not worthy.
Midnight and neighbours depart and off to Bedfordshsire we go. Fingers crossed a nice long lay in tomorrow, well it is Sunday.
Night night my pretty people x

Day 138 - 18th May
Ffffffffriday - hello the weekend..
What an awful day at work, just about rounded off one of the crappiest weeks this year. The whole plan blown out of the water again. Luckily went off to Fosse park to Marks & Spencers to purchase the 'Dine in for 2' - £10 bargain bucket. This break from the office worked quite nicely.
'I need to book a holiday this weekend' I text the other half. 'I need a holiday to look forward too'. Taking the little lad to Norfolk at the end of July, staying in a wonderful area of natural beauty called Kelling Heath.
Check it out if your interested.
www.kellingheath.co.uk
Looking forward to it already, I hope the sun shines for us whilst we are there.
Eve - the plan was to go for a run, chill out with a DVD or watch TV, however took the liberty of booking the Tapas in MH, so DW and I could have a few beverages and round off the working week nicely. Walked into town and returned at a reasonable hour. Food was great, company was even better. Good shout me thinks.
Let's hope we get a lay in tomorrow, well it is the weekend.
Over and out campers x

Day 137 - 17th May
Thursday -
Ah ha I have found the route cause of my tension, low and behold I attribute it to work! I am short tempered, have no time for details, fed up, about on the edge of losing my temper at stupid people (I hasten to add not in my department). Need a rest or holiday or nice chilled out weekend to recoup and chill. Find my calm and serene self...ommm.
Eve - Went for a run - across some lovely fields, a nice warm evening, just lovely.
Mellowed in front of TV and caught up on some recorded stuff

Day 136 - 16th May
Wednesday -
No AM run as knackered, this tension in my shoulders etc is playing havoc with my mojo and energy chi.
Eve - Came home from work and went straight to bed, fell asleep for an hour, haven't done that for years. Felt so much better for that power nap. Still managed to go to sleep by 10pm and have a good nights rest. Clearly I needed batteries re-charged.

Day 135 - 15th May
Tuesday -
OK, so still have headache, that means my morning run is out of the question. Revert to sleeping mode to see if that has any impact. Go away you nasty little head banger...you must have other people to annoy now!
Usually takes a nice 40 minute car drive to work. oh no not today...2hrs yeah, so turned up at work at 10.00am. Managed to make use of traffic issues by catching up with friend in the North. Quite handy actually.
Work..well is basically work I guess, full of incompetent people and divvies...no need to say anymore, I think you get the gist.
Eve - No Golf this eve as weather is not too clever, this time we planned not to play Golf. Well done us, that is me (obviously & DW). Did go for a run though, seeing as I should have gone this am. Shoulders as tight as a Nun's wotsit so DW kindly gave me a wonderful and very therapeutic shoulder massage. Now I don't know about anyone else but there are not many boyfriends who would 1) offer in the first place and 2) take about 20 mins!! (I mean for the massage..you dirty bleeders) Lucky, I am :-) Felt so much better afterwards.
Thanks DW x

Day 133 - 13th May
Sunday -
AM - woken at 6.20am by some small child, then proceeded to watch 'Monsters v Aliens' in bed via the Apple Mac. I know how frustrating it is for me when I can not go running or do some form of exercise due to other commitments, so decided to take Zach off for a jaunt so DW could go for a run.
Zach ate more breakfast at my house, played with the cars, took stuff to the tip, then proceeded to go to the Sports shop to purchase a proper football. Bargain, managed to get 2 x balls, 1 x football and 1 x basketball for £5. Also tried to purchase either an England or Chelsea shirt for him but none in his size, shame as DW would have loved his son to have a football shirt!!! :-)
Dropped the little man back and then did all my chores (well most of them). Due to weather being nice for a change, pottered in the garden, weeded, mowed the lawn (Yeah) and also put the washing out (First time this year, wonders will never cease).
Played 9 holes of Golf in the evening, poor show by me, some great shots out of the bunkers, so I take great comfort to know my sand shots are improving, not so much that I ended up in about 4 on my way round!! Finished late, so popped into Pizza Express for a nice Leggera (pizza with a hole in the middle filled with rocket, Parmesan and balsamic dressing!).
Knackered xx

Day 132 - 12th May
Saturday -
A nice 6 mile run this morning, which was not planned but felt goods so just carried on.
Over to DW's with picnic in tow (God I am such a Mum) nice sandwiches, cereal bars, cookies...
Whipsnade Zoo - weather stayed dry.
Excellent, fun day as I have not been to the zoo in years, so loved it. Ice creams had by all.
Stopped off at Stoke Bruerne on way home, cheeky red wine by the canal, which was lovely and then back to DW's for a game of football on the village cricket pitch before dinner. Just to highlight Zach was with us when playing football!!! Not just two adults having a kick about, now that would be weird..

Day 131 - 11th May
Friday - Nearly the weekend..
On the odd Friday, probably about 4 times a year, I have a nightmare of a day due to people causing issues, mainly out in the sales teams. This presents challenges and I end up literally running around trying to resolve problems created by incompetence. By the time lunchtime arrived I still hadn't started my own work!!! Why can't people just do their own job properly and be mindful of the fact of consequences to their actions, rather than blaming other departments or leaving things in a mess for us to pick up the shite?
Eve - A quiet night this evening as DW has his mate over at his house and they are eating curry, drinking beers, ciders and watching 'Boy' films. Although I was invited I think I will leave them to it, me thinks it will be messy, late night and will smell of boys in the morning!!! Yuck.
Chillaxed and watched 'The Island' with Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Johansson, it was ok but very futuristic, which is not usually my bag. Better once they were being chased.
Decent nights kip required as off to the Zoo tomorrow, Zach's birthday treat

Day 130 - 10th May
Thursday -
Run - 3 days in a row, someone has found their mojo!!! :-)
AM - Zach's 3rd birthday today, so over to see him and DW for the big present opening ceremony, Happy Birthday sing-a-long and cake delivery.
Photos of birthday to add in
Zach loved his new bike, fire engine, cap & even got excited about socks!! Bless, he better get used to that, as he gets older that is all he will get along with smellies. I am sure men can vouch for that after they turn 50 ;-)
PM - Into work for the afternoon, oh how lovely, I could get used to this part time malarky. 4 hrs is easy to do. What a great work life balance.
Still waiting for some nice weather to get into the garden and mow the lawn, weed and do a general tidy up. This April/May has been awful so far, does this mean June - August will present nice, hot and sunny weather??? Let's hope so. Still need to use my new garden furniture.
Eve - mellowed as v tired due to early rising and exercise..DW arrived after Badminton!!
Watched the program on Hoarders and became very stressed, I don't know how those people live in their houses. I know it is a recognised condition, why do people keep such crap? If you haven't used an item for over 12 months, Ebay, chuck it or charity shop I say. Keep it simples people.

Day 129 - 9th May
Wednesday
AM - Early morning run again, nice.
I won't bore people with my work challenges as these are tedious and I shouldn't complain anyway as 1) I have a well paid job & 2) If I didn't have a job I couldn't do all the lovely things I do now.
Eve - Abs Blaster Session @ the gym. OMG! 1/2 hour of tough abs. First 15 mins no problem at all, loved it. To be fair I am blessed with strong abdominal muscles anyway but after 15 mins, crikey all my strength went and I felt like a big jelly fish. Will go again next week though :-).
Remainder of eve - On the phone to my friend in the North, who has challenges of her own...

Day 128 - 8th May
Tuesday -
AM - Run x 3 miles (Just going to build my base fitness up to a level so I can then train properly for races)
Work today, all good as RH is off for a few days, nice. Plenty of meetings this week, so looks like I will be busy. Lots of projects to scope out and plans in place to drive improvements through the business. Yeah - I love challenges.
Eve - Golf (9 Holes) with my new light weight stand bag, kindly bought by my boyfriend as a gift. Thank you so much DW, this is great. I really enjoyed carrying this one around in place of the heavy one. Also loved my Golf today, I achieved my best score on the front nine ever (52 - which is 2 below my handicap). Would have done a little better if I hadn't messed up 2 x tee shots on the 5th & 8th.
DW is also improving, although he did have a nighmare on 1 hole, nevermind this is what Golf is all about and to be fair he has only had a couple of lessons.
Weather was warm and dry....Yeah
Good job people xx

Day 127 - 7th May
Monday - Bank Holiday (Yeah)
AM - nice lie in, breakfast with poached eggs & beans.
Travelled back to MH
PM - DW had already had the great idea of booking us for lunch @ 'Don Paddys' in Uppingham, OMG what a fab place. Small and full of the Hoi Poloi with their 4 x 4's, Barbour jackets and wallets stuffed full of £50's no doubt. Lovely place Uppingham. Great food - shared a liver pate starter and then ate Scallop Risotto with chorizo, just to die for. DW - Seared chicked with Dauphoise potatoes...mmmmm
Basck to MH for a catch up on the Snooker.
Eve - Cinema & watched 'Marvel Avengers' not usually my thing but loved it. I recommend seeing it with or without kids. Although seats were right at the front, so actually thought I was in the film at one point and sitting next to a man who had long straggly hair, berady weirdy and a bizarre taste in clothes put me on edge a little. Couldn't quite work out whether he was the Dad of the boy next to him or his Grandad, whatever the releationship I felt quite unclean when I left.
Another fantastic day and a great finish to a wonderful weekend....onwards and upwards in the world of relationships :-)
TTFN - work tomorrow x

Day 126 - 6th May
Sunday - Peak District Day 2
AM - Breakfast that consisted of Scrambled Eggs, Mushrooms and toms.
Bought the Sunday Times (of course) must catch up on the news and I find this is the paper for me.
Off to 'Kinder Scout' for a hike/scramble up the ravine again. Weather held off, Thank you.
Photo - This is where we are going..
On top of the world...
Mr David Alexander Walton - Looking pleased with himself (Good Job)
A little adventure ensured this PM, clambering over rocks, side stepping across a rock with a drop!! Trudging through Peat (He gets everywhere) and general mischief. Had a right old laugh, good times had by all.
PM/Eve - Managed to secure a place in the bar to watch the snooker/read the paper and have general chit chat about anything and everything. Of course a few pints of Magners, red wine and nibbles were a must. Even ate our dinner at the same table. Arrived at 3.30 & left the spot at 11pm!! Good work people. Even entered the quiz. A fabulous day. Thanks DW.

Day 125 - 5th May
Saturday...it's a Saturday, Saturday....
Off to the Peak District again today, just planning on doing some walking, nothing strenuous due to colds we both have.
This is the free weekend we were given due to fracas last time we stayed in Bradwell. BTW I recommend staying at 'The Shoulder Of Mutton' pub in Bradwell, lovely landlady called Lynn, who is scatty as hell but can't do enough for you and the location is right in the heart of the Peak District.
PM - Arrived and straight off to Castleton, ended up doing Mam Tor...so get this...based on lack of energy and doing flat walks how on earth did we end up going off the path and climbing the side of the very big hill/mountain??? Literally a 1:2 climb up on grass/mud. Quite frankly this was a hard climb, had to stop a couple of times to catch our breath. Check out the below....
Made it and what an amazing view...then proceeded to hike the crag to another great view point. Some French guy took this photo...amazing right?
Eve - FA Cup Final - well done my boys for winning :-). Proceeded by a lovely dinner in the restaurant, then knackered so watched Die Hard in the room. Room with a balcony this time, unfortunately due to the weather we could not sip Champagne and canapes Alfresco.
Great day xx

Day 124 - 4th May
Friday - A glorious day
My, my, my what a horrible week....thank goodness it is nearly over.
Feeling OK today, Bank Holiday Monday coming up so hopefully I can recharge my batteries and feel 'ME' again next week.
Always good on a Friday as dress down day, so jeans is a nice option, failing that bikini and pom poms!!
Eve - DW came over for Fajitas, made by my own fair hands. Lovely, ate 3, yes 3 wraps which is most unusual. I attribute that to having a cold, so needing the calories for energy.
DW & I are both film buffs, being a member of Love Film is great. Watched 'Anonymous' - Telling the alternative story of William Shakespeare. Did he or didn't he write them? Interesting concept and very plausible, I highly recommend it.
Wine substituted by a hot cup of tea and chocolate :-)

DAY 123 - 3rd May
Thursday -
Feeling a little better today but cough is rather chesty, so no running today. Raining Cats and Dogs out there too. Read my book this am with a nice hot cup of tea, until I have to get ready. I always get up extra early so I can potter, I hate just getting up, shower then out the door. Take it easy I say, chill, mellow, take the washing out of then machine, let the cat out, sort out lunch, iron shirt, back into bed and sip tea!!! Lovely jubbly.
Meetings, Meetings and more Meetings but all good.
One of my ladies brought in Herman cake today, chocolate or Apple and Cinnamon so took one of each and ate the Apple one. I have the chocolate one to savour or hand over to DW as a treat.
My Eczema is playing up this week, very dry skin surrounding my eyes - more hydrocortizone cream required.
Whilst the weather is this rubbish my heating does come on for a couple of hours in the evening. Is that a crime?
I am going now as ear drops to try and sort with cat (Slippers)

Day 122 - 2nd May
Wednesday -
OK so cold has set in, feel pooh still, cough is taking hold, so running is out today.
On my lunch time I have been catching up on the Snooker, sad? I don't think so I love to watch the game. It is so strategic.
Left work @ 4.30pm today as taking the cat to the vets as he keeps scratching his ears. Yep and I was right he has an ear infection, in both ears. Bless! I have ear drops for him and need to pick up the cleaner fluid on Friday. Tried to put the drops in, manged 5 in one ear but not the other. This will be fun.
Caught up on some recorded TV. I don't know about everyone else but there seems to be just rubbish programs on TV in the week, so I just watch my recorded ones, usually from sky channels. A good bit of Loui Theroux goes done a treat.
Off to bed early, am totally into the book I am reading 'Meet Me At The Cupcake Cafe' - just fabulous, love it. Then sleepsville.
Sleepy G x
(BTW still munching through my chocolate hoard)

Day 121 - 1st May
Tuesday -
Although I have a slight cold, I managed to get out of bed @ 6.00am and go for a 3 mile run. I am well chuffed with myself. Yeah come on.
Then the good mood faded......
All I can say is PMT...one email set me off this morning, angry is not the word. All day I could not shake the angry feeling ( I am not used to being like this, so it makes it harder). All I wanted to do was to sit under my desk and for people to leave me alone. My team of staff did get the message as I sent quite a few curt emails out to them...oh well doesn't hurt sometimes.
Eve - been raining all day, I feel rubbish and yet we have Golf booked. Why did I not think to mention to DW to cancel it. No - turned up and the weather was dreary, cold, drizzly, foggy but we carried on regardless. Soggy fairways and not very enjoyable 9 holes, although our scores were ok. Some nice shots. By the 15th Tee my energy was at zero, if I could have plugged my self into a battery charger I would have done so. Doesn't help carrying a bag that is meant to be for an electronic buggy!! v heavy.
DW car's under carriage hanging loose, so he had to call the RAC out when we arrived home - just summed a nightmare day. Oh well!
You get my drift, just reading this back sounds awful but hey this is the purpose of the blog right? An electronic diary of events, feelings, scenario's etc
Looking forward to my bed this evening, snugly lovely
Ill person :-( x

Day 120 - 30th April
Monday - Boo
OK so it's the last day of April already and my how quick the year is going. My life is flashing before me 'stop world I want to get off now please' I am quite happy being in my 30's but quite frankly I would like to enjoy the remainder, before I spill over into my next decade. When did time speed up?
This week was (I will explain past tense in a minute) a big plan to get back into my running, 1st of May tomorrow so off we go, quite motivated since I have been reading my monthly edition of Runners World magazine. I have seen a 5 mile race I would like to do at the end of the month and although I can run 5, it is the time I am concerned about. Onwards and upwards.
To be honest - yesterday I had little energy and thought I could be still feeling the effects of Friday eve or coming down with something. Low and behold I feel rubbish today and have started coughing, feel all out of sorts. Yes I think I have a cold coming, just brilliant...why this week? Actually why at all? I am very rarely ill and yet have had 2 spells of illness in as many months.
Nevertheless I went for a quick splode (run/walk/stagger) round the block but it was a real struggle.
Looks like my training will be severely disturbed this week, how crappy

Day 119 - 29th April
Sunday -
Up at about 8ish which is not a bad lie in when Zach is about. Played with cars, Angry Birds, Traffic Rush on the Iphone and made a den for Zach to play in.
Flooding on way home from DW, rubbish weather. I want to be out gardening and getting rid of the weeds and cut the grass. I pray to the Sun God of MH, please come out and provide your Sunshine and warmth to us mere mortals...I'm fading away with such white skin too (Although I do recommend the lovely Dove sun kissed moisturiser)
Chores today - cleaning but I managed to watch the Chelsea game at the same time, by the magic of the IPAD & Sky Go App....technology just fabulous. Thank you Steve Jobs.
Food shopping - £80 this week, £80 what the hell. Usually £40 - £50 but I did have to buy bulk items, like Cat food, Cat litter, cleaning cloths etc..

Day 118 - 28th April
Saturday -
Supposed to be a Raycraft 'Family Golf Day' however call from father explained that half the family couldn't make it due to illness and my cat death. To be fair, I completely understand both issues, I have a lovely cat and if he passed to the other side I would be devastated. Thinking of you Jenny and Brian :-( sad day.
Met up with Auntie & Uncle I haven't seen for 20 years, shocking, they only live in Solihull which is about 45mins from where I am. Note to self : call them and pop to see them. Also to get in touch with my cousin who lives in same area.
I must confess that due to white wine (not qty of glasses) i feel quite pooh today. What's all that about? I wasn't drunk, just tipsy and ate my dinner, please don't tell me the age thing is causing lack of tolerance to small quantities of alcohol. If this is going to be the effect I am abstaining. Luckily DW drove to meet family.
Arrived home after a rather nice lunch in Eppingham - well done David good choice of cafe/restaurant, very quaint and very lovely setting. (Lost of people with pots of £ in Eppingham) Would love to afford a house there but I am sure a 2 up, 2 down would cost £350k!!!!
DW kindly let em take a nap in the PM, as did his little lad. Poor DW could not as Zach was sleeping in the car, so had to stay awake. Bless and thanks :-)
Over to DW in evening, nice Lasagna, of course made by DW's fair hands..have I mentioned that is a marvellous cook, amongst other things! Didn't win the lottery so went to bed, knackered.

PM - Trying to keep hair in place....
I'll let you be the judge of photo's
Ended up having to drink white wine at Wedding!!! Usually a Red wine drinker, only had 4 glasses all night....
A rather enjoyable evening all told ;-)
