Monday - Bank Holiday (Yeah)
AM - nice lie in, breakfast with poached eggs & beans.
Travelled back to MH
PM - DW had already had the great idea of booking us for lunch @ 'Don Paddys' in Uppingham, OMG what a fab place. Small and full of the Hoi Poloi with their 4 x 4's, Barbour jackets and wallets stuffed full of £50's no doubt. Lovely place Uppingham. Great food - shared a liver pate starter and then ate Scallop Risotto with chorizo, just to die for. DW - Seared chicked with Dauphoise potatoes...mmmmm
Basck to MH for a catch up on the Snooker.
Eve - Cinema & watched 'Marvel Avengers' not usually my thing but loved it. I recommend seeing it with or without kids. Although seats were right at the front, so actually thought I was in the film at one point and sitting next to a man who had long straggly hair, berady weirdy and a bizarre taste in clothes put me on edge a little. Couldn't quite work out whether he was the Dad of the boy next to him or his Grandad, whatever the releationship I felt quite unclean when I left.
Another fantastic day and a great finish to a wonderful weekend....onwards and upwards in the world of relationships :-)
