Day 125 - 5th May

Saturday...it's a Saturday, Saturday....

Off to the Peak District again today, just planning on doing some walking, nothing strenuous due to colds we both have.
This is the free weekend we were given due to fracas last time we stayed in Bradwell. BTW I recommend staying at 'The Shoulder Of Mutton' pub in Bradwell, lovely landlady called Lynn, who is scatty as hell but can't do enough for you and the location is right in the heart of the Peak District.

PM - Arrived and straight off to Castleton, ended up doing Mam Tor...so get this...based on lack of energy and doing flat walks how on earth did we end up going off the path and climbing the side of the very big hill/mountain??? Literally a 1:2 climb up on grass/mud. Quite frankly this was a hard climb, had to stop a couple of times to catch our breath. Check out the below....

Made it and what an amazing view...then proceeded to hike the crag to another great view point. Some French guy took this photo...amazing right?

Eve - FA Cup Final - well done my boys for winning :-). Proceeded by a lovely dinner in the restaurant, then knackered so watched Die Hard in the room. Room with a balcony this time, unfortunately due to the weather we could not sip Champagne and canapes Alfresco.
