Saturday -
Supposed to be a Raycraft 'Family Golf Day' however call from father explained that half the family couldn't make it due to illness and my cat death. To be fair, I completely understand both issues, I have a lovely cat and if he passed to the other side I would be devastated. Thinking of you Jenny and Brian :-( sad day.
Met up with Auntie & Uncle I haven't seen for 20 years, shocking, they only live in Solihull which is about 45mins from where I am. Note to self : call them and pop to see them. Also to get in touch with my cousin who lives in same area.
I must confess that due to white wine (not qty of glasses) i feel quite pooh today. What's all that about? I wasn't drunk, just tipsy and ate my dinner, please don't tell me the age thing is causing lack of tolerance to small quantities of alcohol. If this is going to be the effect I am abstaining. Luckily DW drove to meet family.
Arrived home after a rather nice lunch in Eppingham - well done David good choice of cafe/restaurant, very quaint and very lovely setting. (Lost of people with pots of £ in Eppingham) Would love to afford a house there but I am sure a 2 up, 2 down would cost £350k!!!!
DW kindly let em take a nap in the PM, as did his little lad. Poor DW could not as Zach was sleeping in the car, so had to stay awake. Bless and thanks :-)
Over to DW in evening, nice Lasagna, of course made by DW's fair hands..have I mentioned that is a marvellous cook, amongst other things! Didn't win the lottery so went to bed, knackered.
