Friday - Holiday
AM - Up early for DW to have his 4th and final ski lesson @ MK. Gave him one of his birthday presents early, due to the nature of the item (Salopettes) and they fit perfectly, excellent.
Good ski lesson for DW and I really enjoyed my time on the slopes. Listened to some advice from an advanced ski instructor, by ear wigging, then cut my edges and lent right into the turn, excellent.
DW then proceeded to purchase cycle shoes, new helmet, snowboarding jacket, all good as clearly his plans for getting out on the bike and seriously taking up skiing are all on the cards.
PM - Popped into see 'Peter' & 'Louise' (Dad and his girlfriend) in Sutton Bassett, what a lovely couple. nice cup of tea and something called 'Parkin' cake thingy. Couldn't have the chocolate fudge brownie as Lent started on Wednesday, so no chocolate for 6 weeks!!!
Drove to Decathlon, where DW was like a kid in a sweet shop, bought further items for skiing and sports. I bought a really nice scarf to go with my ski beanie hat. Then travelled to the Peak District.
Should Of Mutton (Bradwell) - Lovely B&B with very nice manager, Lynn, and local people. Room was great, over looked the church and village.
Knackered, up early tomorrow for walk
