Day 56 - 26th Feb

Sunday - but more importantly DW birthday (Re-doing his 40th as last year it was rubbish).

AM - Up early and DW opened his 2nd gift, a pair of Superdry joggers, nice. Fitted perfectly, Phew!
Big breakfast, with fried bread today, blooming marvellous. Again required as hiking today, apparently the hike is scrambling up boulders and such like!!

Kinder Scout -

Great hike, but my god it was steep up the boulder/river bed sections. Peaty bogs on the top and the fog came down, so we followed some people then got lost. Thpought we were doomed!! :-)
Came down Jacobs Ladder and back over a small hill to the car. Just brilliant day.
Drove home - very tired, but the day/weekend doesn't end there.

Eve - DW brother invited us round for DW birthday roast dinner, so went for food. Very good meal, enjoyed the company, just generally lovely evening. Home, knackered, bed.

Wonderful weekend, would recommend to anyone who likes to keep fit and have some adventure
