Saturday -
Off to Brum again this am and someone has decided that the OMEGA needs a good home. Left DW in the shop whilst I dived around the shops in the Bull Ring, got collared by someone doing a survey in a shop. Don't they know I have a nice Suchards hot chocolate waiting for me @ the OMEGA shop? The shop assistants, if that is what they call themselves, probably watch Butlers in OMEGA's case wearing their nice gloves to prevent damage to the little watch (ah bless!).
Should have departed Brum straight after, however got delayed by being dragged into the NORTH face shop again, oh darn it!! :-)
Arrived home, DW went for a cycle whilst I popped to buy food for lunch before Parents arrived. The things I sacrifice to allow DW to cycle (only jesting).
Parents arrived, chatted, put lilies in vase, chastised Mum for bringing, white & red wine, chocolates, peanuts etc. Why do parents bring loads of food/drink with them when visiting your home but you get told off when you say you will being stuff for Christmas. I have categorically been told I am not allowed to bring anything apart from me and DW and presents. What's all that about? I have to keep reminding my Mum that I am in fll time work and earn a nice wage, so buying some bits and pieces is not a hardship, however my parents on the other hand are retired!!!! Strange Parental behaviour.
Popped into town in the afternoon, Costa coffee hit and pottered.
Eve - Lovely meal @ Lamport, great food, brilliant service (this time) and great company, we had a laugh.
