Sunday -
Run for me and DW due to not doing any exercise yesterday, picked up Dad's paper on the way in the horrendous pouring rain, soaked by the time I arrived back home.
DW cooked a lovely English breakfast, baked in oven to ensure flavour but not fattening. Mum even had some. Go on Pamela!
Took mum to do the weekly shop but in Waitrose no less, oh darling!
Finally decided to go for a walk about 2.30, rain had stopped and I mustered up some energy.
Took the safest route via the Canal towpath, however many puddles caused a few issues with mud splatters.
Few fishermen looked thoroughly pissed off due to weather.
Ended up in the lovely little village pub and had a nice chat and pint of bitter (bitter and red wine in the winter for me-lovely)
Eve - On the way home popped in to collect a chines meal and then lounged around to watch the last episode of Downton for the season. Although there is a Christmas special on, so not all is lost.
