Saturday - Last day on the slopes :-(
AM - DW passed Ski school (well done Mr), so we decided to spend the day skiing together. luckily the glacier was open today, so we got up late, had a late breakfast and went straight to the top via cable cars.
Oh my what a wonderful place this is....a different world, so tranquil. Filmed myself coming down the slope. DW brought ski boots yesterday, realised that they were too big, so skied down to the chair lift (takes back to the bottom of the slopes) swap them over, no quibbles all done and dusted in 10 mins.
PM - Travelled back up to the slopes and had some lunch, then back up to the glacier...what joy this skiing malarkey is. If you haven't tried it, please do.. gives you a new lease of life. Luckily DW enjoys it and has already asked me when we are going skiing next year!!!! I'm glad he is keen.
Eve - Dinner, Scrabble and cocktails no less (oooh get them) Long Island Iced Tea for DW and a Woo Woo for me. Nice. Would have ordered more but running out of euro's and they are bloody expensive. No need to be 8 euros!! Watched 'Harry Brown' via the Ipad, great film then crashed as early night required (in fact we have had early night all week) need to get up at 4.30am (3.30am English time).
