Monday - (Haven't had one of these in a while)
Must admit v tired today, all that fun and frolicks and early rising must have taken it's toll. Have plenty of meetings and just general work to do this week, so my diary is quite busy. Prefer to be busy than not. Boss away again all week (holiday) let's hope the Chairman is either out or happy all week.
(Bonus - Chairman was on holiday today!)
Eve - Based on the quote received from the Patio man, I have decided to go for it and get the experts in to extend the adults dining area. Patio man can lay it next week, bonus, let's just hope that the rain holds off for him to be able to work. Excited as it will mean I can then move my gorgeous Rattan furniture outside!! Move the Chimnea into place and start to get the garden in a better shape for the summer. Bonus!
BTW what's all the rain about? To be honest I really don't care as long as the weather behaves itself over the summer. I would rather have the 'average' weather in April/May and then a hot summer in June/July/August or at least 6 weeks of the summer.
Quite frankly I need the rain for my garden, so it's all good. Not great for Golf but hey I am not a fair weather Golfer, as long as I have the correct gear and umbrella I am fine.
Note to self; lots of projects to do this year (Downstairs lounge, boards down in loft, new front door, landscape the sloped part of the garden,new fitted wardrobes in the 2nd bedroom (of course at a very good rate from Hammond's Furniture (am I allowed to advertise on here?)
