Day 169 - 18th June

Monday -

Working week begins and it just seems that everything is changing and turning to shit due to budget constraints, which is usual at this time of year. Never makes it any easier though.

Weather is still pants, flaming June? Nope no sign of the summer yet, I wonder what July has in store for us, hopefully the jet stream will sort itself out by the time I have a week off at the end of the month. Camping in Norfolk is not as much fun in the rain as it is in nice weather. Don't get me wrong I am not a 5* girl who needs a hair dryer facility (although sometimes it is nice to pamper ones self) & I don't even mind the rain pitter pattering on the canvas. What I do object to is torrential rain, so that I wake up floating down the campsite in my sleeping bag, now that would not be a good look, although quite an adventure.

Eve - pottered again in garden.

I must tell you about a great book I am reading currently kindly lent by my good friend Ian Drewitt (who is one dedicated sportsman himself), Dean Karnazes - Ultramarathon Man. AMAZING! How this guy motivates himself to run through the night, run 100 miles across difficult terrain, run for 24hrs is beyond me. It has given me my mojo back though, I lost it for sometime, if he can do these feats I can run another marathon no problem, maybe even do an ultramarathon (Anthing over 26.3miles). How far can I push my body?

Inspired to make more of my life outside of work

You can do anything you want to, just put your mind to it
