Day 166 - 15th June

Friday - Gardeners World Live

Surprising to see not too many people here this year, perhaps the forecast of rain hasn't helped.
V & I cleverly decided to see the show gardens first, then pop into the marquee and see the lovely blooms, maybe purchasing some plants for garden.

Low and behold I bought a few plants, Palm, 2 x roses (climber and Rambler), now getting these about in my trolley is not easy, especially with the thorns attached to the roses. Left palm @ stand, collect later (very heavy).

Popped to the cafe and had a hot drink, sat and chatted (pregnant lady required sit down) Then off again to the stands in the exhibition halls. Lots of nice and expensive items to purchase but I did not need anything so saved money. Took £100 this year, when it's gone it's gone! Normally fluff it and take £30 the get annoyed that I can't buy anything else and I refuse to pay for getting my own cash out of the machines.

Home by 2.30pm and off into the garden to plant the new lovelies.
Pottering is great, I love it, time to  think and be on your own.

England football was boring, 1-1 with France.

A really lovely day x
