Day 168 - 17th June

Sunday - Happy Fathers Day

Golf - 18 holes @ Kilworth Springs with buggy (4 ball - DW/Dad & me/Dad)
I had a great first nine holes as did my Dad and Peter played some cracking shots considering he hasn't played for years. David also played well, however we were very slow because we kept losing balls and trying to find them, realised after letting about 10 people play through that we must stop looking for balls and move on. Dad and I got tired and I must admit a little bored @ hole 15, so left DW & his Dad to play on.

Much more fun at the 10th hole as you can see from the photo.

Out for dinner to a lovely pub in Welham, Steak is their forte, so DW & Dad had a couple of 12 oz while mum & I ate something more girlie. Nice meal and shared a pudding, seems to be the thing of sharing puddings these days, at least you enjoy the sweet taste of something after dinner but far less calorific in take -hurray!

It's been a great weekend, next time I will see parents will be when I stay at theirs for the Olympics on July 30th (Hockey).

Monday tomorrow - boo :-(
