Day - DW had a good idea yesterday, to take me to Oxford for the day. I haven't been before and I love 'Lewis' so all good. Caught the park and ride and was flabbergasted to learn (my naivety) that you have to pay for car parking and the bus ride in. I thought you would at least pay for one or the other, what a rip off. Next time we go, plan is to take the bikes and cycle in, mingle with the students (pretend I am 20 again and looking intellectual). If only I was brainy enough to have gone to Oxford, I would have loved it but Manchester equally as fun.
Popped into a lovely tiny pub, only frequented by Laurence Fox (Hathaway).

Zach is arriving for the week, watch this space we need to keep him occupied for a few days then DW has him for a further 3 days on his own. Good luck everybody ;-)
Tried to watch Alien in the evening, whilst eating the M&S meal, which was lovely by the way. I recommend the Salmon with ginger and chill, most pleasing to the taste buds.
Zach played up a little but hey he is only 3 and just pushing the boundaries..I am sure we all did it but just can't remember.
Jubilee Festival in Hyde park tomorrow, fingers crossed the rain holds off
