Day - Jubilee themed street party going on today, buffet and general Royal hoo hah. Nice atmosphere in the office, always a bonus. Lovely spread, courtesy of everyone in the office, including IT and HR.
Eve - DW received his shiny new mountain bike today (Specialized), so of course he wanted to test it out. Went down by the canal and cycled to Foxton, 7 miles along the bank. Enjoyed a nice large Sauvignon Blanc and chit chat. About to head home, but oh no flat tyre & no way of pumping it up. Suffice to say I ran/walked with the bike via the road for 3.5miles whilst DW sped home to pick up car.Very funny & also burnt more calories than planned!!! Nice :-)
The planned M&S meal was put on hold, didn't fancy eating all that at 9pm at night, so just ate a bagel.
