Day 232 - 1st September

Sarurday -

September, really? How time does fly when you are getting older. At least this means I can now focus on buying the Christmas presents and plan for the lovely autumn weather. Jumpers at the ready people. Just love it!  I know what you are going to say? Christmas shut up (True Towie style), but hey us planners out there understand thw significance of the 3 month run up.

Spread your £ over the 3 months and buy the presents over this time - better than being skint when you really the need the £ in December for going out to pubs and events. Makes sense.

Christmas fairs - also cost money if you want to take any little ones to sample the magical time.

Everyone goes a little bonkers with food/drink - so spending the £ as early as autumn will really help.

To be honest I love the run up to Christmas, the actual day is OK and then bang it is all over :-(. Completely deflated, bored and want to now spend £ in the sales but dont' have enough!! This year will be different as little Zach will be around (stockings, toys, Father Christmas, food for the Reindeer) ah takes me back to those amazing times when I was a wee bairn. (Alright knock it off, it wasn't that long ago. Cheeky!)

Anyway back to Saturday -

I promised DW that I would buy him a new pair of sunglasses awhile back and so off to MK to find the sunglasses hut. Low and behold they had the pair he wanted (Raybans). DW thought he would ask for a discount and yes if he was an O2 customer, he is and so that was that. 25% off and also a pair of kids raybans for £15 (due to buying an adult pair) and we were off.

Pootled around in other shops and tied up the last minute holiday bit and bobs then back home.
