Friday - Last of the hot days :-(
Popped to Fosse park at lunchtime to purchase a nice dine in meal for two and other bits and bobs.
Spent over £40 in Boots just on holiday stuff, wrapping paper and cards!!
Eve - Met one of DW's friends from University, Ian and his girlfriend Jessica. They flew in from Sweden a couple of days ago and are here for a short visit. Took Zach with us, unfortunately he was a little tired so DW took him out of the pub to sit in the car with a film on the Ipad and then I sat with him whilst DW went back into the pub.
Watched all of the opening ceremony, wow, I stayed up until 12.35am to watch the lighting of the torch. DW fell asleep before me, which is unheard of. How the body can adapt when it wants to. That is 2.35hrs later than my usual bed time. Crikey, call me a 'naughty stay up late'.
