Last day of the week for me and quite frankly thank goodness.
What a day - freakish storm hit Hinckley, dark black morose clouds loomed over work for hours, never seen anything quite so Harry Potterish. Typical me decided to go out to grab some Sushi & got caught in the storm, initially hail stones the size of Golf balls started raining down, and I could not see out of my window. Managed to get back to work however flooding all over the shop, only 15 mins of rain/hail!!
Just as I stepped out of car these massive and I mean massive, double the size of Golf balls came down, I ran for cover and literally had to shield my head with my hands in case one hit me on the head. Everyone was looking out the windows as you could see the hail stones denting peoples cars and there was nothing we could do about it but stand and watch with open mouths.
I have about 20 - 25 dents on my lovely Audi, as you can see. People had their windscreens smashed, generally a mess. Looks like it going to be a costly tidy up if the insurance companies don't pay out.
What a strange day x
